The weather was freezing cold... ran the first lap in 1H48 mins after having to stop for a crap in the woods and was very cold but feeling strong.

Half way round second lap needed to crap again and got really cold with upset stomach so I walked the remaining miles to the finish.  Twisted ankle on a few of the roots and after the race, found was unable to run for 6 weeks due to pain in the heel / ankle where I broke leg a few years earlier.. not sure if was muscle damage or bone but the pain completely stopped after 6 weeks of swimming.

 

Very friendly low key race :-)
