Merrimack 10K Swim 2013
1st annual swim race from Tyngsboro to Lowell down the Merrimack river. Weather was sunny, water deep and murkey... felt strong for the whole swim and the current helped with the time :-) Had issue with goggles at start and wasted 10 mins as had to find kayak support crew and swap out the goggles. had refreshments at 1.5 hours... energy drink and goo's Had refreshments at 3H.... only to find out was less than 1/4 mile form the finish.... there we wasted another 5 to 10 mins... but was surprised and happy to see the finish :-)
