Please Note: 50 Milers must start the last loop by 3:30PM!!!

We will accept day of race entries until 5:45am Saturday morning. There will be a trail briefing at 5:55am, followed by the start as soon as it is light enough to run. Runners should be checked in by 5:45am or they may be late for the start.
The race start and finish will be at Doyon School 283 Linebrook Road in Ipswich this year (north side of Willowdale).
Directions - Coming from the South - take exit 50 off of I-95 to Rt. 1 North. After passing the Topsfield Fairgrounds, turn right at the third traffic light (ignore blinker lights, there is a Cumberland Farms store on the left). The race will be at the Doyon Elementary School on your right a couple miles down Linebrook Rd. Coming from the North - take exit 54 off of I-95 to 133 East (left off ramp). Follow 133 to Route 1 - first traffic light - turn right - at the next traffic lights turn left onto Linebrook Rd.
Parking will be an issue at the start area. We will be using another town parking lot on Mile Lane about 400 yards from the start area. You will be directed to the parking area as you arrive.

There will be at least three aid stations.  The course is all trails, mostly double track, with some single track trail in Willowdale Forest on a 12.5 mile loop.  Yes it's four loops for a fifty!  The course is very runnable but has a lot of rocks and some sections contain many roots. The terrain is rolling.

Accomodations:   Comfort Inn North Shore, Danvers, MA, located 11 miles from the start of the race, is offering lodging at a special Stone Cat rate of $59/night plus tax. Each room contains two double beds. This offer is good until October 24, 2003 and is subject to a 24 cancellation notice. A continental breakfast is provided and special accommodations can be made for a pre-dawn breakfast on race day. Reference code "Stone Cat Race" when you make your reservations by calling 978-777-1700.
