Pig roast on 30th July 2016
Been wanting to roast a pig for years.. so finally ordered 80 pound pig and
rented the roaster.
The Roaster was delivered with the pig inside... covered in ice for friday
then cooked it on Saturday.
Using the vents, kept the temperature 250 degrees for 7 hours.. added apple
chips in the smoke tray a few times which gave a nice smokey flavour but not
overpowering.
The meat was cooked perfect.. just falling off the bone.
Turned out excellent.. now wondering when to do the next one :-)
